The City of Grande Prairie’s Engage Grande Prairie event returns to Eastlink Centre for its second year.
The event showcases a variety of current municipal topics for residents to explore and provide feedback on. Residents are invited to join Council members and City Administration at the Eastlink Centre on October 3, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., to participate in discussions on topics such as:
- 2025 Budget
- Bear Creek Dam
- Cedar Point
- City Events and Programs
- Fire Services
- Grande Prairie Police Service
- Parks Operations
- Transit Services
“Engage Grande Prairie is a great opportunity for residents to voice their thoughts and viewpoints on issues that impact our community,” says Mayor Jackie Clayton. “This event plays a crucial role in creating valuable connections and strengthening our relationships. We look forward to interacting with residents on important topics like the 2025 Budget, allowing Council to gain a clearer understanding of our community's priorities.”
The event is open to all City residents and is drop-in format.

2025 Budget Engagement
Opportunities to share feedback online for the 2025 budget are available at engage.cityofgp.com/budget2025 until October 6 and include:
- A Prioritize Tool to rank your preferences on budgeted projects
- An idea space to share your answers to brainstorming questions
- A Q&A space to ask Administration questions about the budget
