RCMP inviting Ponoka residents to have 'Coffee with a Cop'

The Ponoka RCMP are inviting local residents to have Coffee with a Cop.

The local detachment is hosting an informal meet and greet on September 24 at 5 p.m. at the Ponoka Arena.

"Ponoka RCMP is dedicated to maintaining direct open lines of communication with the communities we serve. We would like to get to know area residents better, discuss your concerns and ideas about law enforcement and conversely create an opportunity for you to get to know your local police officers and discuss our duties and responsibilities," stated an RCMP news release.

Free coffee will be provided.
