Between September 13 and September 19, 2024, Rosetown and Kyle RCMP handled a variety of calls, including traffic violations, wellbeing checks, and suspicious activity reports.

Highlights include:

  • Two reports of erratic drivers on September 13, one on Highway 4 and another on Highway 7, both resulting in verbal warnings.
  • On September 14, police responded to a mischief complaint in Rosetown, though no charges were laid due to insufficient evidence.
  • On September 15 and 16, officers conducted wellbeing checks in Rosetown.
  • A motor vehicle collision near Zealandia on September 18 left a 42-year-old male injured and transported to Rosetown Hospital for assessment.
  • Kyle RCMP investigated a mischief complaint at Clearwater Lake on September 16, but insufficient evidence prevented further action.
  • Police also responded to suspicious person in Rosetown, SK. Members located a 42-year-old male from Prince Albert. Members attended to his outstanding Warrants and released for court

In total, 28 traffic-related charges were issued during the week, along with responses to one 911 mis-dial and three false alarms. The RCMP encourages anyone with information on these incidents to contact Rosetown RCMP at 306-882-5700 or report anonymously through Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers.
