RCMP continues investigation on collision near Dafoe

RCMP continues its investigation of a crash that occurred on September 20 on Highway 16 approximately 2 kilometres north of Dafoe. RCMP received the report of the collision at approximately 8:50 pm on September 20.  

Investigation determined a semi and truck collided. The driver and sole occupant of the truck was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. She has been identified as a 53-year-old female from north Vancouver, BC. Her family has been notified. 

The driver of the semi was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening. 

A Saskatchewan RCMP Collision Reconstructionist attended. Wynyard RCMP continue to investigate in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
