It was an eventful weekend at the Church of Whitestone in Texas after dozens of people started a new life in Christ.
The church, planted and pastored by singer and songwriter, Tauren Wells, held a baptism service on Sunday.
"We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone getting baptized starting their new life in Christ!" said the church in a post on Instagram. "Going to be a day filled with transformation, overflowing joy, and faith in action! WE CANT WAIT!!"
Over 50 people of all ages took the plunge in the first service. Those numbers climbed throughout the day, with 88 people, including Wells' son Navy, baptized in the second service and over 121 in the final service.
"That makes 293 baptisms at Whitestone!" said Church of Whitestone. "We are blessed to be on this journey together! May we never forget days like today!"
Tauren Wells officially launched Church of Whitestone on Jan. 28, 2024.
