One person pronounced dead following Sunday vehicle fire

A vehicle fire broke out Sunday night around 8:30 p.m. on the 700 block of Ominica Street East, with Moose Jaw Police Service members responding. 

Police say they found a body in the vehicle, and EMS pronounced the person deceased.  

Next of kin was notified.

Both the reason for the fire and cause of the individual’s death are under investigation by local police and the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service.
