Don't be alarmed if you see a STARS helicopter flying over the Cochrane Ranche today.
The Cochrane RancheHouse is hosting a special event this morning, the annual Rescue in the Rockies, in support of STARS.
Five community leaders are swapping their business suits for STARS flight suits. Their goal is to each raise $50,000 for STARS by the day's end.
The event will include a STARS helicopter landing in the courtyard outside the RancheHouse.
"We want to reassure everyone that while the sight of the STARS air ambulance can be alarming, there’s no emergency—just a celebration of the incredible work they do for our community." stated the Town of Cochrane.
