Chestermere looking to take the bite out of winter with jacket donation program

As winter approaches, the City of Chestermere is looking to take the bite out of winter by providing winter clothing for those less fortunate.

Staff from the city are asking for warm jackets.

You can drop off your gently used or new coats for adults and children at City Hall, the Recreation Centre, the library, or Synergy as part of the Jacket Racket program.

"Every jacket makes a difference. Together, we can help keep our neighbours warm this winter," says a Facebook post from the city.

The jackets will be collected until the second last week of October.
