Two men charged in shooting death near Strathmore to face trial together

The two men charged in the shooting death of a man near Strathmore on August 6 will be tried together when the case goes to trial.

Arthur Wayne Penner was arrested on August 12 by Edmonton police and is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Colin Hough, a Rocky View County employee. He is also charged with the attempted murder of another man.

Elijah Blake Strawberry was found and arrested by police on September 13 on O'Chiese First Nation near Red Deer. He is charged with second-degree murder and attempted murder.

The case will be back in court on October 10.
