Rosetown, SK – The Rosetown and Kyle RCMP responded to various incidents between September 20 and September 26, 2024. Below is a summary of calls for service during this period:

  • September 20, 5:36 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of a suspicious person in Harris, SK. Members patrolled the area but were unable to locate the individual.

  • September 20, 10:21 p.m. – Kyle RCMP were called to a motor vehicle collision involving a deer on Highway 4. No injuries were reported, and the incident was documented for insurance purposes.

  • September 21, 2:15 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of an erratic driver on Highway 7. The vehicle was located, and the driver received a verbal warning.

  • September 22, 1:56 p.m. – Kyle RCMP were called about a suspicious vehicle on Highway 7. The vehicle was located, but no suspicious activity was found.

  • September 22, 2:36 p.m. – Kyle RCMP responded to a report of uttering threats in Beechy, SK. Insufficient evidence meant no charges were laid.

  • September 22, 5:31 p.m. – A noise complaint was received in Rosetown. RCMP spoke with the individual involved, and no further action was required.

  • September 22, 6:11 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP were unable to locate a vehicle reported for erratic driving on Highway 7.

  • September 23, 7:46 p.m. – A second motor vehicle collision with a deer was reported on Highway 4. Again, no injuries were reported, and the incident was logged for insurance.

  • September 24, 2:30 p.m. – Rosetown RCMP received a report of household item theft in Rosetown. Due to a lack of evidence, no charges were laid.

  • September 24, 4:01 p.m. – A suspicious vehicle was reported near Lucky Lake, SK. RCMP patrolled the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.

  • September 24, 5:31 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported in Elrose, SK. RCMP arrived, but the individual had already left the area.

  • September 25, 1:15 p.m. – Kyle RCMP responded to a report of an erratic driver on Highway 4 near Elrose. Members located the vehicle and spoke with the driver.

In addition to these incidents, there were 60 traffic-related charges issued, as well as two 911 misdial calls and two false alarms.
