The 2024 Kindersley Terry Fox Run was a huge success, bringing the community together to honour Terry’s legacy and raise vital funds for cancer research. This year’s event raised $1,540, contributing to Terry Fox’s mission to find a cure for cancer, 44 years after his iconic Marathon of Hope first inspired a global movement.
“We are proud to have our community come together to keep Terry’s message alive,” organizers said, reflecting on the event’s continued impact.
Participants gathered for the run, supported by local businesses and organizations. The Kindersley Co-op and Kindersley Save On Foods generously provided water and granola bars for all runners, helping to fuel the day. The Kindersley Klippers, always active in community causes, led the warm-ups and lent their support to the event.
“We extend a heartfelt thank you to this community for its generosity in continuing Terry’s legacy,” organizers added. The turnout and donations reflect the ongoing commitment of the Kindersley community to fight cancer, proving that Terry Fox’s message of hope and determination continues to thrive, even decades later.
