On September 25, 2024, Kindersley conservation officers were alerted to a bow hunter unlawfully using an ATV in the Hearts Hill Community Pasture, located west of Major, Saskatchewan. At the time, the risk of fire in the area was extreme, and cattle were present nearby, raising serious concerns about safety.

The hunter is described as a Caucasian male with brown hair. He was seen riding a red ATV equipped with a snorkel kit, large aftermarket tires, and a rear poly box.

Conservation officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact their local Conservation Officer or call the Saskatchewan Turn In Poachers & Polluters (TIPP) line at 1-800-667-7561.

The Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory Network continues to stress the importance of following hunting regulations and respecting private property.
