The RCMP detachments in Unity, Wilkie, and Macklin have released their weekly report of incidents and investigations from September 24 to 30.
Unity RCMP

Vehicle Collision with a Train: Police responded to a report of a vehicle collision with a train near Scott. Thankfully, no injuries were reported, and two traffic tickets were issued to the driver.

Property Concern: Officers spoke with an individual regarding a property issue.

Two-Vehicle Collision in Unity: A minor two-vehicle collision occurred in Unity with no injuries and no charges. The incident was reported for insurance purposes.

Trespassing Complaint: An investigation is ongoing following a trespassing complaint.

Wellbeing Checks: Members conducted three wellbeing checks—one requested by a family member, one by a concerned citizen, and another by a family friend.

Damage to Residential Property: A complaint of property damage is currently under investigation.

Threats Complaint: Police received a report of uttering threats, but the complainant declined further action.

Roadside Suspensions: Officers issued a 72-hour roadside suspension and a separate 60-day suspension during traffic stops.

Trespassing Complaints: Two separate complaints of trespassing were received. One was unfounded, while the other had insufficient evidence to proceed.

Suspicious Individual: An investigation is underway after receiving a report of a suspicious person on a residential property.

Unwanted Individual at Business: Officers attended a business to remove an unwanted individual. No further police action was required.

Impaired Driving Charges: A 36-year-old male from Saskatoon and a 38-year-old male from Unity were both charged with impaired driving in separate traffic stops.

Abandoned Vehicle: RCMP located the registered owner of an abandoned vehicle.

Single-Vehicle Collision: A minor single-vehicle collision near Unity resulted in no injuries. The driver received a traffic ticket.

Mental Health Act Complaint: Officers attended to a Mental Health Act complaint, leaving the individual in the care of family.
In addition to the incidents listed, the Unity RCMP responded to five traffic complaints and three false alarms.
Wilkie RCMP

Sudden Death: RCMP attended the scene of a sudden death involving a 71-year-old male from the Wilkie area. The death was deemed non-suspicious.

Fraud Investigation: A report of fraud is currently under investigation.

Theft: Police are investigating a theft complaint.

Family Dispute: Officers mediated a family dispute.

Vehicle Fire in Landis: The Landis Fire Department extinguished a vehicle fire, which was not considered suspicious.

Trespassing at Rural Property: A complaint of trespassing at a farmyard remains under investigation.
Wilkie RCMP also dealt with three traffic complaints and one false alarm.
Macklin RCMP

Abandoned Bicycle: Police received a report of an abandoned bicycle. The owner has not been located.

Break and Enter: A 26-year-old female from Provost was charged with break and enter with intent following a report of a residence being broken into.

Criminal Harassment Complaint: Officers spoke to the subject of a criminal harassment complaint and issued a verbal warning. Insufficient evidence was available to proceed.

Disturbance of the Peace: A report of disturbing the peace was received, but there was insufficient evidence to take further action.

Failure to Comply with Conditions: An investigation is ongoing after a report of an individual failing to comply with conditions of their undertaking.

Mental Health Act Complaint: Officers responded to a complaint under the Mental Health Act and spoke with the individual involved.
Macklin RCMP also responded to one false alarm.
