The Color recently brought a little Canada on tour with The Newsboys when the bands faced off in a friendly game of hockey.

"Spent our afternoon at the @jeff.frankenstein school of hockey (assistant coaching courtesy of our Canadian friends @thecolortc 🇨🇦)," says Newsboys on Instagram.

The Color, a band from Plum Coulee, Man., has been on tour with The Newsboys for a couple of months. The bands performed in Fort Worth, TX on September 28, and afterward stopped to play a little hockey.

"After an hour on the ice we can confirm that we are better at music than ice hockey," says The Newsboys.

While The Newsboys members were originally from Australia, the band has been based out of the U.S.A for many years. The two bands and their members decided to 'duke it out' with an anthem sing-off to start the game.

"Naturally, we kicked off our USA v CANADA hockey game with a song battle. National anthem edition," Newsboys shared on Instagram.

While The Newsboys don't have any Canadian cities on their tour currently, they hinted at potentially making they way to their northern neighbours at some point.

"It’s been a FUN year on the road with @jordanjanzen_ + @thecolortc… might be time to take the fun up north, eh?"
