"Every year, this banquet brings together members of the community for a night of fun and camaraderie, all while supporting an important cause,” said an organizer Sherry Casswell from Ducks Unlimited Kindersley. “It’s not just about the auction or the food—it’s about coming together to make a difference in preserving Canada’s wetlands and wildlife habitats.”

One of the major draws this year is the chance to bid on two exclusive international hunting trips. The first adventure is a 10-day safari in Africa for three hunters, offering an unforgettable experience in one of the world’s most exciting hunting destinations. The second trip up for grabs is a 3-day dove hunting expedition in Argentina for four hunters, promising thrilling action in one of the premier destinations for wing shooting.

In addition to these grand prizes, the evening will offer a variety of other items for auction, ranging from outdoor gear to luxury experiences. Each year, the auctions generate significant support for Ducks Unlimited Canada, with all proceeds going directly towards their mission of conserving wetlands and other natural habitats.

For 41 years, Ducks Unlimited Kindersley has been hosting this fundraising banquet, which has earned a reputation as a can’t-miss event in the community. The funds raised have helped support vital conservation projects across Canada, ensuring the protection of wetlands that serve as critical ecosystems for waterfowl and countless other species.

This year’s "Starry Nights" event promises to continue that tradition, with the added allure of exceptional prizes, a wonderful meal, and the opportunity to contribute to a cause that benefits both wildlife and future generations.
