The Kerrobert and District Health Centre has announced a temporary disruption of emergency and acute care services on Wednesday, October 2nd. From 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the facility will be unable to provide these essential services.
In addition, please be advised that virtual physician services will be the only option available at the Kerrobert facility during the following periods:
- - October 1, 2024, 8:00 a.m. to October 2, 2024, 8:00 a.m.
- - October 2, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to October 3, 2024, 8:00 a.m.
Residents needing in-person emergency medical attention are encouraged to visit nearby facilities. The closest options are the Kindersley Integrated Health Facility and the Unity and District Health Centre, both of which will remain fully operational during the service disruption.
This planned disruption may cause inconvenience to local residents, and healthcare officials encourage the public to plan accordingly. In the event of a medical emergency, residents are reminded to call 911, as ambulance services will still be available for transportation to the nearest open health facility.
