The Town of Lampman was chosen to host a party this Saturday for Game Day - the Riders on the Road presented by McDougall Auctioneers.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders will be in Edmonton to face the Elks at 5 p.m., which will be aired on the big screen in the Lampman Rink.
Teresa Dyck with the Town of Lampman said the free event will kick off with a parade on the north side of Main Street at 4 p.m., ending up at the rink.
Fans can expect performances from Pep Band, the CKRM Cheer Team, and Gainer the Gopher. There will be a merch trailer on site, and kids can also look forward to cornhole, a football toss, and bouncy houses.
Tickets will be sold for a 50/50 raffle, and all proceeds from the event will go to the Lampman Recreation Board.
"The kitchen is open, a cash bar, some silent auctions," she shared. "It's just going to be a great time. We're also going to be having some live auction items."
Prizes will be awarded to the three best-dressed Riders fans, as well as to the three best-decorated yards. McDougall Auctioneers will auction off an online Game Day prize package, with the winner announced at halftime.
