The Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Allégresses Church in Trois-Rivières, QC, is picking up the pieces after a fire ravaged the building last week.
On October 3, local emergency crews were dispatched to help control and put out the fire that had the whole building up in flames. One of the bell towers ended up collapsing because of the fire.
According to reports, the building was empty of people at the time of the fire, meaning no injuries were reported.

The historic Catholic church was built in 1914. As of late, Georges Mouradian purchased the building in hopes of converting the church building into 40 to 50 residential units.
Mouradian was planning on getting started on the remodelling the day after the fire broke out.
Authorities are slow to make any speculation on the cause of the fire at this time.
