Benjamin William Hastings has officially released his sophomore album, giving listeners an insightful look into his faith journey.
The 12-track album, Sold out, sincerely, features several guest artists including Brandon Lake, Aodhán King, and Matt Crocker.
"As we age in faith there are ups and downs, and I’ve referred to myself many times in this process as a recovering deconstructionist,” shares Benjamin William Hastings. “The song ‘Still You’ is my flagship song on this album. It’s a song that I hope people can use in moments of worship, as it also speaks to the journey I’ve been on. It’s a confession of faith while acknowledging the ups and downs. It’s a reminder of all the different ways God was there, and therefore I’ll keep showing up back. I love this song, it’s probably my favourite on the album. Hopefully, it resonates with people who have been on a similar journey. It’s after everything, you’re still my everything.”
Hastings has seen massive success as a songwriter writing songs for Brandon Lake, Cory Asbury, Hillsong UNITED, Hillsong Worship, Rend Collective, Mack Brock and many more. His songs have been streamed globally more than 1.2B times, and he has more than 128.1M solo career streams.
Hastings has toured with Phil Wickham this year and will be on tour this fall with Brandon Lake. He'll also headline three shows in New York City, Nashville, and Los Angeles.
