The Strathmore Legion was filled with local farmers as they enjoyed a bountiful meal of local barbecue while talking about the harvest season.

The event took place on Thursday (Oct. 10) and was presented by 104.5 More Country and was emceed by morning show host Keesyn Glawson.

"It's a fun event. It's good to catch up with everybody because we've all been busy over the last two months," said Dane Hilton, who works with Hilton Ventures. "It's a nice chance to unwind and see how everybody did."

A catered feast was provided by Baldwin BBQ, featuring foods such as barbecue chicken, macaroni and cheese, and cornbread. Following the meal, there was a prize draw featuring gift cards, wine racks, and charcuterie boards.
