The search for a nude man spotted at a Kananaskis Country campground many times over the past few months continues.

Mount Kidd RV Park has issued a safety warning after a recent sighting of an unclothed man near the campground.

This follows multiple sightings of the man since July.

Campers are advised to avoid approaching the individual and to call 911 immediately if they see him.

Witnesses have reported that when seen, he quickly retreats into the nearby trees. Fortunately, no threatening behaviour has been observed during these encounters.

Previously, RCMP described the man as being fully nude, skinny in stature, Caucasian and possibly bearded.

Police suspect the man may be living in makeshift camps in the backcountry, and officers have discovered three of these sites during their investigations.
