RCMP to host town hall meetings in Wheatland County and Drumheller

Drumheller RCMP is hosting two town halls this week to listen to concerns from residents surrounding crime.

According to police, the first event will be held at the Dalum Community Hall in Wheatland County on Wednesday (Oct. 16) at 7 p.m.

The hamlet of Dalum is around 80 kilometres from Strathmore.

The second will be hosted in the Drumheller Legion Vimy Room on Thursday (Oct. 17) at 7 p.m.

"These meetings serve as an opportunity to openly discuss community policing needs and issues, current police initiatives, and meet officers from your local detachment," wrote RCMP in a Facebook post.
