Rocky View County council elect Reeve and Deputy Reeve

Rocky View County council elected a Reeve and Deputy Reeve during a Tuesday (Oct. 15) organizational meeting.

According to the county, members voted Division 3 councillor Crystal Kissel as Reeve and Division 2 councillor Don Kochan as Deputy Reeve.

It's the third term as Reeve for Kissel and the second term for Kochan.

"Under the county’s system, councillors select a Reeve and Deputy Reeve for a one-year term," wrote RVC in a news release.

The county helps serve areas near Strathmore like Chestermere and Langdon.

Council also appointed several new members to boards and committees which can be viewed here.
