Unity, Macklin Wilke RCMP responded to various calls the week of October 8-14.
Unity: RCMP investigated a variety of incidents, including a stolen vehicle and break-in at Suffern Lake, a trespassing complaint, a vehicle collision, and a 35-year-old man charged with assault. Officers also issued a 60-day roadside suspension and responded to several false alarms.
Wilkie: Investigations into theft and a break-and-enter at a business continue. A 48-year-old man was charged with operating a vehicle while prohibited, and a fraud complaint is under investigation. Other incidents included a collision with a deer, a stolen vehicle report, and an abandoned building entry.
Macklin: Police dealt with an unwanted person at a business and conducted a welfare check. A 27-year-old man was charged with impaired driving, and there were reports of a vehicle collision with a moose. Two false alarms were also investigated.

Unity Detachment:
- RCMP responded to a report of a siren, which was found to have originated from a Fire Department barbecue.
- Police are investigating a break-in at a camper at Suffern Lake, along with a separate report of a stolen vehicle from the same area.
- A complaint of trespassing was received, but officers were unable to locate the individual.
- Officers responded to a Mental Health Act complaint, speaking with the subject of concern.
- A single-vehicle collision near Denzil was reported, with no injuries, and remains under investigation.
- A 60-day roadside suspension was issued during a traffic stop.
- CN Police reported cows near the railway tracks in Senlac, and local farmers were notified.
- A 35-year-old man from Unity was charged with assault and uttering threats following a complaint.
- A report of a stolen vehicle was deemed unfounded.
- CN Police reported a railway crossing malfunction near Senlac for information purposes.
- RCMP also handled three traffic complaints and two false alarms.
Wilkie Detachment:
- RCMP are investigating a theft and a break-and-enter at a local business.
- A 48-year-old Wilkie man was charged with operating a vehicle while prohibited during a traffic stop.
- An investigation into a fraud complaint is ongoing.
- Police responded to a vehicle collision with a deer, with no injuries reported.
- A stolen vehicle report was determined to be unfounded.
- Officers spoke to individuals entering an abandoned building following a report.
- Additionally, one traffic complaint and one false alarm were addressed.
Macklin Detachment:
- Police received a report of an unwanted person at a business. The individual left the area without incident.
- Officers conducted a welfare check at the request of an employer.
- RCMP are investigating a complaint of uttering threats.
- A 27-year-old Macklin man was charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle during a traffic stop.
- A vehicle collision with a moose was reported with no injuries.
- A 72-hour roadside suspension was issued during another traffic stop.
- Two false alarms were also responded to.
