Welcome back to another Made in Manitoba as we welcome back Rhonda Head for a return visit. The forty-two-time international award-winning Mezzo-Soprano vocalist is from the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, and has just released a new album called "ASKI"... barely a year after her previous release.
The album is about nature, choosing what's right and admiring beautiful people... all three of those themes we'll explore with Rhonda Head as we welcome her back to Made in Manitoba tonight.
ASKI means 'earth' in the Cree Language, and Rhonda noted working on the album was spiritual, fun, and brought her enlightenment. We'll ask her to talk about how she experienced those feelings while creating the album during the program, which you can listen to below.
