Ducks Unlimited Kindersley has announced the postponement of its highly anticipated 41st annual fundraising banquet, originally scheduled for October 19 at the Elks Hall. The event, themed "Starry Nights", was set to be a highlight of the community's fall calendar, bringing together supporters of wildlife conservation for an evening of entertainment, fine dining, and fundraising.
Grant Casswell, one of the event organizers, provided an update, citing unforeseen circumstances as the reason for the postponement. “Unfortunately, we have to push the event to the spring, but we are already working hard to set a new date as soon as possible,” he said. “We’ve reached out to all ticket holders and are in the process of contacting our sponsors to ensure everything is in place for the spring.”
