Bear sighting in Sprucewood Park subdivision

The County of Grande Prairie received a report yesterday afternoon of a bear sighting in the Sprucewood Park subdivision, which is located south of the City of Grande Prairie along Highway 40.

They are asking the public to take the following precautions:

• Be cautious and stay alert and watch for signs of animal activity.  
• Do not approach the bear
• Keep children and pets close.
