Love & The Outcome's Jodi King and Chris Rademaker have asked their fans for help as they work on their next project.

The former Winnipeggers, and husband-wife duo, have started a Kickstarter campaign to help them raise funds to create a Hymns record.

Jodi says the pair both grew up with their grandparents singing hymns in church and the Blessing before every meal, something they feel is relatable for many.

"We’ve had this project on our hearts for years, and now that we’re an independent band it seems like the perfect time to do it," said the band in a post on Instagram. "We just thought it would be super special to make them singable. A few less chord changes, Love & the Outcome style."

The pair are asking fans to help them raise half the cost of the record, which is $30,000 in total to record, mix, master and design.

"You’ve always supported our family, we honestly wouldn’t be here without you, and we need you now more than ever," said the pair. "Our kids don’t know many hymns and we’re hoping this helps change that. Let’s bring hymns back into our homes."

The Kickstarter campaign will run until Nov. 14. In order to collect the funds, the band must reach their $15,000 goal before then.
