Kurling for Kids is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children and their families at children’s hospitals. They strive to raise funds that allow hospitals to provide leading edge medical treatments, programs and equipment for children, which would otherwise be out of reach with current budgets.
Kurling for Kids participants raise funds by selling raffle tickets and collecting donations from family and friends. There are also dozens of affiliate events held each year with all proceeds going to "K4K". What began as a very small gesture from parents wanting to thank a hospital, has grown into a “feel good” event celebrating its 25th anniversary and having raised over $5 million since its inception in Montreal in 1999.
They are thrilled to announce that this year, they are expanding their reach and welcoming Manitoba into the K4K family by hosting an event at the Altona Curling Club on November 16th!
