Phil Wickham stepped out of his comfort zone over the weekend as he wrapped up his last tour date in Canada.

For the first time, Wickham performed a song in French in front of a sold-out concert in Montreal, Quebec Saturday evening.

"A first for me! I sang a song in French at our show in Montreal," said Phil in a post on Instagram. "It was such a beautiful moment to see the Church alive in Canada."

Wickham performed 'Holy Forever' as the crowd stood up, held up their hands and sang their hearts out in worship.

"I am a Canadian. I don't speak French, but I do have an understanding of what that would have meant to your crowd. Thank you for meeting the people, God's people, where they are at," said one fan on Instagram.

"You have no idea how much of a blessing this was! So powerful!! Merci mille foi!" said another fan.

This was the last stop of Wickham's tour in Canada which also stopped in Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa.

Phil is currently preparing for his Christmas tour in December and his Singalong Tour in 2025.
