SaskPower is alerting customers about a scam email currently circulating that falsely claims to be from the "SaskPower Carbon Council." The fraudulent email informs recipients that a large deposit is being e-transferred to them from the Government of Saskatchewan.

SaskPower emphasizes that it does not send e-transfers and urges customers to carefully verify the email address before responding to any suspicious messages.

Anyone who has clicked on the link in the fraudulent email should contact local law enforcement immediately.
