A woman from the RM of Blucher is facing a number of charges after a fatal incident on Highway 11 on Saturday night.

A truck driving north in the southbound lanes near Dundurn struck an SUV, killing two people.

Two women aged 50 and 20 from Lake Isle, Alberta were in the SUV and were pronounced deceased at the scene. 

Two occupants in the truck, both children were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

32-year-old Brittany Barry has been charged with driving while impaired over 80 milligrams causing death, dangerous driving causing death, driving while impaired causing bodily harm, criminal negligence causing death and causing bodily harm.

She did not report the injuries to police and was arrested at the scene of the collision. 

Barry was scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on Monday in Saskatoon. 

Highway 11 was closed for six hours for the initial investigation. 

Saskatoon RCMP believed there are witnesses to the incident they have not spoken too yet. If you have information to his incident, you're asked to contact the Saskatoon RCMP detachment.
