The City of Grande Prairie is proud to celebrate Small Business Week, recognizing the significant contributions of local entrepreneurs to our community's economic vitality.
To mark the occasion, the Mayor, Council members, and the Invest Grande Prairie team are visiting small businesses across the city, hearing from local business owners and sharing valuable information about different programs offered to help and empower small businesses in our city.
One program that Invest Grande Prairie is proud to showcase during Small Business Week is the Business Visitation Program. This program strengthens ties with local businesses, allowing the City to stay informed about the economic landscape while building valuable relationships.
The business visitation provides the chance for business owners to meet directly with economic development staff and discuss the Grande Prairie business landscape, business information and resources, future plans, challenges and opportunities for growth. Through this program, the Invest Grande Prairie team gains insights into business needs, suggests enhancements to City services, and connects businesses with key resources.
The City encourages all residents and businesses to join in the celebration of Small Business Week to recognize the hard work and dedication of our entrepreneurs and build a vibrant, thriving, and resilient small business community in our city.
