Fresh off their GMA Dove Award wins, worship artists Bethel Music are releasing new music, including a single off their upcoming album.

The single "Even Though I Walk" was released on Oct. 21, and features Hannah McClure. It is one of 18 tracks that will be on the new album We Must Respond that will be released on Jan. 10, 2025.

"This song came out of a season of facing a lot of fear and grief," says McClure. "It has been an anchor and a reminder for my soul that God is good and faithful to walk with us in the pain, and that we come out as more than conquerors with Him."

Bethel Music recently took home two Dove Awards at the 2024 awards show for Song of the Year for "Holy Forever" sung by Chris Tomlin, as well as Children’s Recorded Song of the Year for "Holy Forever" sung by Yancy.

The new album, We Must Respond, features many Christian artists, including Brooke Ligertwood, Josh Baldwin, Kristene DiMarco, and Edward Rivera, to name a few.

"We Must Respond, when we think about His presence, His goodness, love, mercy, salvation, the simple fact that we’re breathing, our hearts are filled with gratitude," says Jenn Johnson of Bethel Music. "He is our everything, and we can’t help but respond to Him and give Him our worship."

According to The Christian Beat, the album was based on something singer/songwriter Bill Johnson said, "Psalm 46:10 – “Be still, and know that I am God,” invites believers into a holy exchange between the Spirit of God and the hearts of those who seek Him and long to know Him. There in that place of deep surrender is where genuine, true worship takes place."
