The Rosetown/Kyle RCMP detachment has released a summary of calls received from October 18 to October 24, detailing a series of incidents across the region.
October 18
At 8:09 a.m., Kyle RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle near Kyle. Officers located the vehicle, spoke to the driver, and learned they were awaiting a tow.
October 19
Early in the morning, at 2:39 a.m., Rosetown RCMP were alerted to an erratic driver on Highway 7 but were unable to locate the vehicle. Later that day, at 12:54 p.m., Rosetown RCMP began investigating a break-and-enter incident at a rural farmhouse, and at 7:20 p.m., responded to a report of erratic driving in Lucky Lake, SK.
October 21
At 2:38 p.m., Rosetown RCMP received a report of a motor vehicle collision in a Rosetown parking lot. While no injuries were reported, the incident has been recorded for insurance purposes.
October 22
Kyle RCMP responded to two calls that day, beginning at 10:37 a.m. with a report of a suspicious person in Rosetown, though officers found no evidence of suspicious activity. Later, at 12:48 p.m., officers addressed another erratic driving complaint on Highway 4 near Elrose and spoke with the driver.
October 24
At 9:33 a.m., Kyle RCMP began investigating a driving complaint in the Clearwater Lake area.
In total, officers issued 35 traffic-related charges and responded to three 911 mis-dials and two false alarm calls.
