Fans of The Chosen are beyond excited as they await the release of Season 5 of the popular show.
On Sunday, Dallas Jenkins announced via a live stream on YouTube that The Chosen's next season will be released in April 2025.
"It is coming to theatres, the entire season, not exactly all at once, but you will have a chance during the theatrical release to at some point, spend an entire day watching the entire season," said Jenkins.
Just like Season 4, all episodes of the show will debut exclusively in theatres. They will start rolling out in early April and continue into the Easter season.
Dallas also confirmed during the live stream that after completing Season 7, Jenkins will take a short break.
"When I am done filming Season 7, I am taking a break from Chosen projects," said Dallas. "So, there will be a gap. During that gap, there will be other projects that are coming out, I'm just not doing them myself."
One of those projects is Joseph, which he hopes will come out between Season 6 and 7.
"I'm not actually going to be directing that by myself," said Dallas. We've brought on a writer named Craig Wright."
After his break, Dallas says he'll be better than ever to start filming Moses and, if all goes according to plan, The Book of Acts show.
More details on the exact release date of Season 5 will be released shortly.
