Grammy-winning, multi-Platinum-selling group Casting Crowns announced via social media on Sunday, that they plan to take a break.
The band recently celebrated its 20th anniversary, releasing a new album and documentary that shared the journey of the group over the past two decades.
The post was vague and did not contain much information about when or why.
"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now," said the band in a post on Instagram. "Taking a break for health and rest."
Fans reacted saying, "You have been bringing us joy and truth for quite a while. Well deserved rest. We will be here should the show resume!!"
"So grateful for you, friends. Thank you for sacrificing your lives and serving so well," said another fan.
Casting Crowns recently finished the last few stops of their 20th-anniversary tour, which started on Sept. 28 in New York.
