Award-winning singer and songwriter Mac Powell has released a new album.
The 11-track project I Love Jesus, celebrates the simple gospel message of what God has done in his life.
"With I Love Jesus I wanted to return to the simplicity of what I do," shares Mac Powell. "The gospel is a simple truth and I wanted to share that in simple songs that remind us of the love of Jesus."
The songs featured on the album are simple, and stripped away, with many only using three or four chords. Some songs he's already released off the album include, 'Like it's Nothing,' 'Good News,' 'Keep on Keepin' On' and the title track.
"I know every single artist that puts out a new record says this and thinks this but I really feel like this is one of the best albums that I've ever made."
I Love Jesus is Powell's second solo CCM project after his acclaimed three-decade career as the co-founder and frontman of Grammy-Award-winning rock band Third Day. His solo debut, New Creation, landed at the top of the Christian & Gospel chart, and produced the hit radio singles "New Creation" and "River of Life."
Powell is currently on 'The Awakening Tour.' After that, he heads out on the 'United We Worship' tour with Danny Gokey, Tasha Layton, and Seph Schlueter.
