UPDATE: Accident on 116 Street and 100 Ave, RCMP on scene

Grande Prairie RCMP is advising that the intersection of 116 Street and 100 Avenue has been re-opened. 

The Grande Prairie RCMP would like to thank everyone for their co-operation and their appreciation to the assisting responding agencies for their assistance to re-open the roadway in a timely fashion.

Grande Prairie RCMP is currently on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 116 Street and 100 Avenue. Traffic cannot proceed through the area at this time.

A detour is being established, however, the public is asked to seek out alternative routes as this section is expected to be closed for some time.
