Airdrie Rural RCMP and Beiseker RCMP are responding to a train derailment near Beiseker.
The derailments occurred north of Highway 9, between Highway 806 and Range Road 255. Emergency responders, including fire crews and CN Rail representatives, are coming to the scene.
A total of 19 rail cars are reported to have gone off the tracks, though investigators are still working to identify their contents.
No traffic disruptions have been reported, but authorities advise the public to avoid the area as the investigation continues.
