Sports Round-Up: Monday, November 4

The Moose Jaw Warriors are back at home after winning just one of five games on their tour through the BC Division of the Western Hockey League. That win came against the Royals, in Victoria on Friday night by a score of 4-2. They finished off the trip with a 6-2 loss to Vancouver Saturday night. 

The Warriors are on home ice this Friday, when they’ll host the Lethbridge Hurricanes. 

The Winmar AAA Warriors won both of their weekend games against the Tisdale Trojans - a 3-2 shootout win on Saturday and a 4-1 victory yesterday. The Winmar Warriors play a pair of home games on Saturday and Sunday against the Warman Wildcats. 

5A 12-A-Side football, MJ Central is out of the running for the Provincial Championship after falling 31-3 to Saskatoon Bishop Mahoney in the semi-final  on Saturday. 

At the CurlSask U18 Sask Cup #2 Bonspiel in Prince Albert on the weekend,  Moose Jaw’s Team Heisler won, beating Team Kitsch 7-4.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders earned a trip to Winnipeg for the CFL West final this weekend after a 28-19 victory over the BC Lions. It'll be the Argos and Alouettes in the East final after Toronto outscored Ottawa 58-38.

NHL last night, the Winnipeg Jets beat the Tampa Bat Lightning 7-4, the Toronto Maple Leafs fell 2-1 in overtime to the Minnesota Wild, and the Oilers doubled up on the Flames 4-2.
