On Oct. 31, 2024 at 10:00 p.m., Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of mischief and assault in the area of Kateri Drive in Grande Prairie. The investigation determined that a female victim had been struck in the face with force with an egg, as she was handing out candy to children in the doorway of her home. Witnesses on scene described the egg as having been thrown from a pick- up truck that was observed speeding away from the scene. As a result of this incident, the female victim had to be taken to the hospital where she was treated and later released with non -life threatening injuries to her face. The suspect vehicle is described as;
- Full size, possibly beige or blue in color;
- Last seen speeding away southbound on Kateri Drive.
Grande Prairie are asking for anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have dash camera or home security footage captured on Oct. 31, 2024 between 9:40 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. in the area of Kateri Dr between 74 Ave and 68 Ave, to please contact the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5701.
