Southwestern Saskatchewan has come together financially through a recently erected GoFundMe in support of a local family that tragically lost three members.
A motor vehicle collision about six kilometres south of Swift Current claimed the lives of Trina, Dakota, and Madison McCoy on Tuesday afternoon.
"Our hearts go out to EMS, fire, RCMP and those first on scene," Krystal McCoy, the creator of the GoFundMe said. "We can never thank you enough!"
The GoFundMe was made on Wednesday by Krystal, Trina's sister-in-law and Dakota and Madison's aunt.
In the first 36 hours or as of 8 p.m. Thursday, over $28,500 had been donated toward the goal of $40,000.
According to the page, the funds will be used for funeral costs and to create a trust fund for the lone daughter left in the family.
"We thank you in advance," Krystal said on the page bio.
A come-and-go memorial has been arranged for November 12 beginning at 10 a.m. inside the Tompkins Community Centre.
"Please join us in remembrance of our girls," the GoFundMe concluded.
