Opposition leader Carla Beck announced her shadow cabinet on Wednesday.
Along with her duties as leader of the opposition, Beck will add Agriculture and the new Rural Affairs to her portfolio.
Last month’s provincial election saw the Sask. NDP more than doubled their seats. In a release Beck said her team is a government-in-waiting and ready to deliver.
“We’ve seen a lot of momentum because we’ve been focused on the priorities of Saskatchewan people,” said Beck.
“I know every single member of this team is excited about taking on new responsibilities to push for real change. We’re ready to prove that we’re a government-in-waiting.
“Saskatchewan is a great province. We shouldn't be ranked last place in Canada on healthcare and education. Hardworking families shouldn’t be living paycheque to paycheque.
“We’re going to work for all people in this province, no matter where you call home.”
