Elizabeth Middle School is set to dazzle audiences with its production of Disney’s Aladdin JR., running from November 26 to 28 at 7 p.m. each evening. The lively 60-minute musical, tailored for middle school performers, is inspired by the beloved 1992 Disney film and its 2014 Broadway adaptation. The cast features talented students from grades 6 to 9, directed by Janice Graham and Shaunesy Walde.
Get ready for an adventure filled with magic, laughter, and timeless songs. Audiences will follow the charming Aladdin, the independent Princess Jasmine, and the ever-entertaining Genie as they explore mystical caves, soar on magic carpets, and outsmart the villainous Jafar. The show includes hit songs like “Friend Like Me,” “A Whole New World,” and “Prince Ali,” along with new numbers added for the Broadway production. With vibrant characters and thrilling scenes, Aladdin JR. promises to be a memorable experience for theatre-goers of all ages.
