Gleichen RCMP say one person has died following a vehicle crash on Highway 1 near Cluny on Monday (Nov. 18).
According to a RCMP news release, police from Bassano, Gleichen, and Brooks were at the scene of the crash, which happened on the westbound lanes between Highway 842 and Highway 56.
Initial reports say over 12 vehicles were involved.
The highway has now reopened after being closed for several hours.
