It was a busy overnight and early morning period for the RCMP on Saskatchewan Highways, with RCMP saying they responded to 14 collisions between 12 a.m. and 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Aside from a jackknifed semi just west of Belle Plaine, there was also a collision involving three vehicles west of Guernsey, a vehicle in the ditch in the Fort Qu’Appelle area, and two collisions involving deer.
No injuries have been reported in relation to collisions during that time period.
Just before 9 a.m., RCMP said they received a report of a semi rollover 10 km east of Indian Head along Highway 1, but there are no other details on injuries at this time.
Be sure to check the Highway Hotline before setting out. With changes earlier this year, motorists can also track snowplow locations on Saskatchewan highways over the previous two hours.
