When can Chestermere residents expect their supplementary tax notices?

Chestermere residents who are expecting physical copies of their supplementary tax notices will have to wait a little longer.

According to the city, delays can be expected following the Canada Post strike affecting Chestermere and Strathmore.

"These notices are issued to all new homes, buildings, and additions that were completed/occupied within the current tax year," says the city in a news release.

The city mentioned if residents live in a property or building completed this year, should look into receiving the annual notices electronically.

The deadline for payments is December 21.
