Airdrie commuters report that fog is causing poor visibility on area highways, including the QEII, in southbound and northbound directions.
Drivers are asked to exercise caution and drive to the road conditions.
Residents can expect cloudy weather and a chance of flurries tonight. Temperatures will drop to -11, and the wind chill will make it feel like -16 overnight.
Wednesday will bring a 30 per cent chance of early morning flurries, followed by periods of snow starting later in the morning, with a local accumulation of up to 2 centimetres. Temperatures will reach a high of -8, with a wind chill near -17.
Snow will taper off in the evening, leaving cloudy skies and temperatures falling to -15 overnight, with a wind chill of -19. Southeast winds will peak at 20 km/h before calming later in the evening.
