The winter season is now upon us, and with that, the Youth Theatre Company in Strathmore will be putting on Alice in Winterland.
The show is a rendition of the classic Alice in Wonderland production.
Staff with the company says it's the first big show that the theatre will be performing for the public.
"YTC started as youth theatre classes just over two years ago, and then just recently in the last spring, we started to get into actual productions and switched to Youth Theatre Company. Alice in Winterland is kind of our first big show," explained Devin Hall, vice president of the board.
The production will include more than 30 people on the stage.
Torie Heming, one of the actors in the play, says anyone interested should come and watch.
"I absolutely recommend anyone you know to come out. Definitely watch the show and then, you know, put your name in and see what you can bring and just have a ton of fun."
The show will have a wide variety of ages performing.
"I would say we have 15 to 20 of our performers are all youth and then we've got a fairly large group of teenagers as well. Then a few adults kind of round it out," says Hall.
The fun will be taking place at the Hope Community Church.
